Best Budget-Friendly Hosting To Get Started With Blogging
Want to start your blogging career but don’t have a hefty budget? The good news is, you don’t need a ton of money to get started with your blogging career nowadays.
There are a lot of cheap or budget hosting services providers are out there that will fit right into your budget to get you started.
Let’s talk about them without wasting any more time.
Before we move on to the list, please know that my intention here is to provide you with a list of budget-friendly hosting companies without compromising on quality or reliability too much.
So obviously I will exclude some of the cheap hostings out there that I don’t trust and neither should you.
If you’re willing to risk your money then definitely go ahead but I wouldn’t recommend buying hosting services from an unreliable company.
Okay, let’s begin.
1. Hostinger
Hostinger is one of the most popular and trending hosting service providers right now. It started to grow and became popular because of its unbelievable pricing compared to other hosting companies out there.
Initially, it wasn’t the best budget hosting that you can find on the internet. In fact, it was one of the hostings that I used to avoid.
However, many things have changed now. Except they are still one of the best budget-friendly hostings.
2. Dreamhost
Dreamhost is another great hosting with a similar starting price as Hostinger. I got to know about this hosting while listening to the Marketing School podcast by Neil Patel and Eric Siu.
I always wanted to try it out so I used it in 2021 at the same time when I bought Hostinger for testing purposes.
They are quite similar in nature but Hostinger won over it slightly in my experience. Plus, they also provide more resources than Dreamhost on their starting plan.
So unless you have any objection with Hostinger, I would recommend you to go with them. Otherwise, Dreamhost is also exceptionally good at the pricing point and almost as good as Hostinger.
On top of that, Dreamhost also has a monthly plan that you can use instead of buying hosting for 3-4 years straight like Hostinger to get it at a cheaper rate.
3. Namecheap
Namecheap is a very popular name because of its domain pricing and FREE WHOIS for a lifetime. While they are the best destination to purchase a domain at the cheapest rate possible, they also provide one of the cheapest web hosting on the internet.
I have used this hosting for almost 2 years and it is good enough for beginners but to be honest it’s not really good. It’s a hosting that you can buy if you don’t have enough money to spend on the other hosting companies listed on this page.
Also, their automated backup doesn’t work properly. So, if you plan to use them, make sure to create your own backups otherwise you might lose all of the data.
It’s not bad, but it’s not that good either.
4. GreenGeeks
Now, this hosting is not as cheap as others but it’s still in the range to be considered budget-friendly hosting.
GreenGeeks is hosting that provides its services while using 100% renewable green energy. This ensures that your business or website is doing its part to contribute to the environment while growing your business.
Most people buy GreenGeeks solely for this reason but it’s not just a hosting that is environment-friendly. It is very competitive and a great hosting that you should definitely consider if it’s within your budget.
While it’s not always true, this time you’re getting better by paying more.
Needless to say that it’s better than Namecheap and even Dreamhost in some cases.
5. Bluehost
Bluehost is one of the most popular web hosting service providers on the internet right now. However, things are changing slowly and Hostinger is taking its place if I check their popularity on Google Trends.
Besides that, it’s still one of the most popular hostings and it is also officially recommended by WordPress.org
They started to lose their trust when they were acquired by EIG as almost everyone hates EIG.
While I don’t think it’s the best hosting on this list, it’s definitely one of the good ones in this budget range.

6. A2 Hosting
A2 Hosting is another popular hosting that I think fits in this list of budget-friendly hosting. In my experience, it wasn’t the best hosting that I tried but it’s good enough to consider on this list.
Their higher-tier plans might be better but we’re talking about the budget plans here. So, this is just another option for you like the others in the list that you can choose from.
I would highly recommend going towards Hostinger over it but this hosting is not too bad either.
Conclusion
To conclude, there are several budget-friendly hosting service providers out there that can fit into anyone’s budget to get started.
However, not all of them are good enough or trustworthy.
That’s why I have made this small list of trusted hosting services that you’ll be able to afford even if you’re just getting started.
Personally, I would recommend going with Hostinger from this list but you can choose any hosting from this list and it will serve you well enough for the buck you’ll be spending on them.
